RDE-IED REGISTRATION

The Electronic Declaratory Registration – Direct Foreign Investment (RDE-IED) is a mandatory registration stipulated by the Central Bank of Brazil, through Circular 2,997 of 8/15/2000, for any company that has foreign capital composing its capital stock.

RDE-ROF REGISTRATION

The Electronic Declaratory Registry – Registry of Financial Operations (RDE-ROF) is a mandatory registry administered by the Central Bank of Brazil, through Law 4,131 of 9/3/1962 and Circular 3,689 of 12/16/2013 for international operations.

National or foreign companies that want to carry out international operations need to have this registration. In some cases, before registering the RDE-ROF, it is necessary to obtain registration at the Central Bank of Brazil, at Cademp (Cadastro de Empresas).
